Job summary

Brookhaven Nursing Home, Donaghmore, Ballyragget, Kilkenny, R95 YP63 is seeking a Senior Healthcare Assistant to provide the highest standards of care to residents. You will work under the direction of the Senior Nursing Staff within a clinical care team and be responsible for hygiene, nutrition and mobility.

Starting salary: €32,700 per annum, 39 hours per week. A comprehensive benefits package includes free uniform, Garda vetting, pension, travel insurance and Bike to Work scheme.

Qualifications

• Senior Healthcare Assistant role with Nursing Diploma equivalent to FETAC Level 6.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest standards of care to residents under the daily direction of the Senior Nursing Staff.
• Supervise hygiene, nutrition and residents' mobility as part of a clinical care team led by a Staff Nurse.
• Rostered weekly for defined shifts.

Your role shall be to provide the highest standards of care to residents within this Nursing Home. You will operate under the daily direction of the Senior Nursing Staff and act as the primary carer for our elderly residents. Along with providing clinical care, you will also be responsible for supervising hygiene, nutrition, and residents' mobility. You will operate as part of a clinical care team led by a Staff Nurse.
