Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Health and Safety Lead for a Tier 1 Main Contractor to oversee HSE across three live projects in South Dublin. You will lead a team of 5+ EHS staff and drive safe working practices on-site.

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will develop and implement H&S strategy, conduct audits, lead incident investigations, ensure CDM compliance and report performance to senior management.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and relevant Health and Safety qualifications.
• Senior Health & Safety role with a main contractor.
• Experience leading EHS teams across multiple sites.
• Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for Health and Safety across three live projects in South Dublin.
• Lead, manage and develop a team of 5+ EHS advisors and officers across the sites.
• Develop, implement and monitor Health and Safety strategy, policies and procedures at project level.
• Carry out audits and inspections, driving close-out of actions and continuous improvement.
• Lead incident investigation, reporting and learning across the projects.
• Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, statutory requirements and client standards.
• Report Health and Safety performance and risk to the Regional Director and senior management.
