Job summary

Jobgether SRL on behalf of a partner company seeks a Senior Software Engineer based in Ireland. You will build a data‑intensive platform, owning features end‑to‑end from concept to production across Go backend and React/TypeScript frontend.

You will influence architecture, standards, observability, and development practices in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, while operating in a fully remote contractor arrangement.

Qualifications

• Extensive Go backend experience and scalable service design.
• Frontend proficiency with React and TypeScript.
• Strong SQL skills with relational databases.
• Experience with Docker and containerised deployment.
• Familiarity with GitLab CI and observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance Golang microservices and React/TypeScript frontend applications.
• Take full ownership of features from ideation through production deployment.
• Build performant interfaces using React, TypeScript, and design systems.
• Develop backend services in Go and deploy via Docker-based environments.
• Make architectural decisions balancing scalability and maintainability.
• Improve performance, reliability, monitoring, and observability.
• Maintain high engineering standards with clean-code, reviews, and documentation.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver technical solutions.
• Contribute to automation, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure initiatives.
