Job summary

Mastercard Ireland is seeking a Senior Enterprise Operations Engineer to provide advanced network support as part of the EMEA Network operations team. You will diagnose root causes, implement fixes, and drive long-term improvements, with occasional project support and mentoring of junior staff.

The role requires expertise in routing, firewalls, WAN, and automation, plus fluency in English and willingness for on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in Network Infrastructure Delivery.
• Payments/Fintech experience is a plus.
• Experience operating under a global follow the sun model.

Responsibilities

• Tier II network support for Mastercard business.
• Support project teams with infrastructure deliverables.
• Proactive network analysis to ensure optimal performance.
• Create/update documentation for the environment.
• Plan, coordinate and implement changes per change control process.
• Produce reports on issues resolved or progressed.
• Some on-call weekend/after-hours work.
