Job summary

Klohn Crippen Berger Ltd. (KCB) is seeking a Senior Geochemist to support mining and environmental consulting services. You’ll work within the EMIE Group, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across Canada, the US, and internationally, including Naas, Ireland.

We value a strong track record in geochemistry, client advisory, and mentorship. The role involves field work, travel, and delivering high‑quality technical outputs while growing the geochemistry practice.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Science, or Environmental Geoscience with Geochemistry specialization.
10+ years’ experience related to geochemical analysis.
Professional registration (e.g., P.Geo., P.Eng.).
Valid driver’s license, Class 5.

Responsibilities

Conduct geochemical analyses of soil, rock, and water samples to assess environmental impact and identify potential risks.
Provide technical expertise on geochemical aspects of mining projects including waste management and ARD.
Develop and implement geochemical models to predict long‑term trends and evaluate mitigation.
Collaborate with engineers, geologists, hydrogeologists and environmental scientists on monitoring and remediation.
Prepare reports, presentations, and regulatory submissions for clients and authorities.
Manage projects or environmental tasks within multi‑disciplinary projects.
