Job summary

Stelfox is seeking a Senior Gen AI Developer to join a high-performing team delivering enterprise GenAI solutions across web, API, backend, data, and database layers. You will design, develop and support AI-powered applications using Python, LLMs, and external services in Dublin, Ireland.

You will build modern web apps with Angular/React and strong API design, implement secure OAuth2 authentication, and optimize data pipelines and databases to enable scalable analytics-driven platforms.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience building Generative AI, LLM, or AI-powered applications.
• Strong Node.js and Express.js expertise.
• Excellent API design and integration experience.
• SQL/PLSQL development and data integration experience.
• Experience with Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support enterprise Generative AI applications spanning web, API, backend, data, and database layers.
• Develop AI capabilities using Python and AI/ML libraries, integrating LLMs and external AI services.
• Create prompts, AI workflows, and model integrations for scalable GenAI solutions.
• Build and maintain web apps using Angular or React and backend with Node.js/Express.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs with secure, scalable architecture.
• Develop and optimize SQL/PLSQL database components, queries, stored procedures.
• Design and support ETL processes and data integration for analytics/AI.
• Implement OAuth2-based authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Utilize Redis and other techniques to improve performance and scalability.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys designing, developing, and supporting enterprise AI applications spanning web, API, backend, data, and database layers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support enterprise Generative AI applications spanning web, API, backend, data, and database layers.
• Develop AI-powered capabilities using Python and modern AI/ML libraries while integrating with Large Language Models (LLMs) and external AI services.
• Create effective prompts, AI workflows, and model integrations to deliver accurate, scalable, and business-focused GenAI solutions.
• Build and maintain modern web applications using Angular or React, along with backend services using Node.js and Express.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs following HTTP standards, security best practices, and scalable architecture patterns.
• Develop and optimize SQL and PL/SQL database components, queries, stored procedures, and data access layers.
• Design, implement, and support ETL processes, data integration pipelines, and data engineering solutions to enable analytics and AI-driven capabilities.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth2 and related security protocols.
• Utilize Redis and other performance optimization techniques to improve application scalability and responsiveness
