Job summary

IntelStack is seeking a Senior GCP DevOps Engineer to lead design, implementation and automation of cloud-native platforms on Google Cloud Platform for a regulated financial-services environment.

You will drive cloud transformation, establish DevSecOps standards and enable secure, resilient platforms. The role emphasizes automation, governance and strong collaboration with risk, security and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years in enterprise cloud platform engineering, DevOps or SRE roles.
• Hands-on expertise with GCP services: GKE, Cloud Build, Cloud Run, IAM, Cloud Storage.
• Expert Terraform with reusable modules and remote-state governance.
• Strong Kubernetes, Docker and Helm skills; Istio service mesh experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable GCP platforms with multi-region HA and DR.
• Lead cloud migration and modernisation, defining platform standards and governance patterns.
• Establish CI/CD, GitOps, environment automation and release strategies.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning via Terraform and policy as code.
• Design and manage large-scale GKE environments focusing on security, networking, performance.
• Implement SRE practices using SLIs/SLOs and enterprise monitoring, logging, alerting.
• Lead incident management and root-cause analysis to improve reliability.
• Embed DevSecOps controls across delivery lifecycle and governance with risk teams.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory/security requirements in financial services.
