Job summary

Waystone in Ireland seeks a Senior Associate – Fund Risk to support risk reporting and oversight for regulated funds. The role focuses on market risk analytics and monitoring investment compliance limits within ManCo client contexts.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in fund regulations, experience with Excel, Bloomberg or RiskMetrics, and the ability to produce clear risk insights for internal committees and external boards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in the finance/funds/investment management industry.
• Understanding of fund operations and accuracy in examining data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Bloomberg, RiskMetrics or similar systems would be beneficial.
• Understanding of programming languages such as VBA, SQL or Python.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing fund-related reports provided by Investment Managers.
• Performing due diligence on Investment Managers as part of client acceptance process.
• Analysing the key risk indicators of KBA’s client portfolios.
• Preparing regulatory reports such as Annex IV.
• Conducting liquidity stress testing in accordance with each fund’s policy.
• Preparing risk reporting for monthly review by KBA’s Risk Committee.
• Presenting risk analysis at external fund board meetings.
