Job summary

Vanguard in Ireland is seeking a lead for fund financial reporting and regulatory reporting. You will oversee analytical reviews, ensure accuracy of fund reports, and manage certification processes. A strong focus on internal controls and regulatory compliance supports accurate disclosures and audit readiness.

The role emphasizes collaboration within a hybrid work model, leveraging cross-functional teams and external providers to deliver timely, compliant financial statements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years related work experience in financial services or financial reporting.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Finance or Accounting degree preferred.
• CPA, CA or other financial designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs analytical review of reports for medium complexity funds for accuracy, validates results and resolves data issues.
• Oversees completion of the group's key deliverables and reviews financial reports for accuracy.
• Completes fund financial statements and regulatory reports in line with local requirements.
• Identifies control gaps and recommends improvements to strengthen internal controls.
• Manages policies and procedures and drives process improvements to mitigate risk.
• Maintains regulatory reporting knowledge and ensures compliance with changes.
• Facilitates fund certification, including scheduling and preparation of documents.
• Participates in special projects and supports colleagues with problem resolution.
