Stelfox IT Recruitment is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Web Developer for three daily-rate contract roles in Ireland, with a hybrid working model (3 days on-site). You will build high-performance web applications using React/Next.js and Node.js, design robust APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a full-stack or multi-stack developer on large-scale, production-grade web apps.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript across client and server.
• Expert in React and Next.js front-end, and Node.js for back-end services.
• Solid understanding of modern CSS methodologies (Tailwind, CSS Modules, Styled Components).
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Context API, Zustand) and data fetching (React Query/SWR).
• Experience with databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and caching (Redis).
• Cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React and Next.js.

• Lead root-cause analysis to ensure production stability and security.
• Work with Enterprise Architects on data governance, security, and cloud standards.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical grooming with estimation.
• Coordinate with QA to ensure features meet acceptance criteria.
• Identify technical risks and provide progress transparency to programme management.

Senior Full-Stack Web Developer - Daily Rate Contract Roles x3- Hybrid-Working Model (3 Days' On-Site)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using React and Next.js.
• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and microservices using Node.js.
• Architect and manage secure, high-performance APIs (REST or GraphQL) for web and mobile consumption.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and visual designs into high-quality, responsive code.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and SEO, leveraging Next.js features (SSR/SSG).
• Integrate applications with headless CMS platforms, third-party suppliers, legacy systems, and internal data sources.
• Design and maintain database schemas (SQL or NoSQL) to support data-driven applications.
• Advocate for front-end best practices, including accessibility (WCAG), modular component design, and state management.
• Perform root cause analysis of technical issues and ensure the stability and security of the production environment.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment with data governance, security protocols, and cloud infrastructure standards.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical grooming — providing effort estimations, feasibility insights, and technical leadership across the stack.
• Work closely with QA teams to ensure features are thoroughly tested and meet acceptance criteria.
• Support the Programme Manager by identifying technical risks and dependencies, and providing transparency on technical progress.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Full-Stack or multi-stack Developer working on large-scale, production-grade web applications in complex technical environments.
• Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript across both client and server.
• Strong expertise in React and Next.js for front-end development, and Node.js for server-side development.
• Strong understanding of modern CSS methodologies (e.g., Tailwind, CSS Modules, or Styled Components).
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API, or Zustand) and data fetching (React Query/SWR).
• Deep understanding of database management (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and caching strategies (e.g., Redis).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Proficiency in other relevant languages (e.g., Python, Go) or frameworks is an advantage.
• Proven ability to identify and implement technical solutions that meet business needs and represent value for money.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling collaboration within a cross-functional squad and translating complex technical concepts for stakeholders.
• Self-driven and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership over end-to-end application architecture.
• Deep experience with Agile delivery models and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
