Job summary

State Street in Kilkenny, Ireland, seeks a senior level developer to join our Networks as a Service (NAAS) team to drive the automation of network and security environments. You will contribute across the stack, collaborate with network engineers, and deliver against SDLC milestones in a Scrum-friendly setting.

The role requires strong Python skills, Django experience, RESTful APIs, and frontend tech like HTML/JS/React.

Qualifications

Highly proficient in Python.

Responsibilities

Full Stack development of solutions to automate Network Technologies.
Experience contributing to and understanding all layers of a full stack application.
Database integration including querying, joins, and optimization.
Develop and test modular, high quality code.
Write automated tests and contribute to all aspects of the SDLC process.
Deliver against requirements and acceptance criteria from a Network Infrastructure team.
Interface with Network Engineers to understand the requirements for Network devices.
Collaborate with the development team on a daily basis.
Work within a Scrum framework using an agile mind-set following SDLC processes.
Ability to work with a variety of infrastructure technologies and third-party products.
Must be able to work a 4x4 hybrid model (4 days in office, 4 weeks per year remote) consistent with State Street Policies.
