Job summary

State Street is seeking a senior level developer to join the NAAS development team, delivering products to the global network group and driving the automation of network and security workflows.

You will work across Python, Django, REST APIs, and full‑stack technologies, collaborating with Network Engineers and the broader team in a Scrum environment. The role supports a 4x4 hybrid model with some in‑office and periodic remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• Highly proficient in Python.
• Experience with Django and RESTful APIs.
• Full stack development across frontend and backend.
• Experience with JSON/XML data formats.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum processes.

Responsibilities

• Full Stack development of solutions to automate Network Technologies.
• Experience contributing to and understanding all layers of a full stack application.
• Database integration including querying, joins, and optimization.
• Develop and test modular, high quality code.
• Write automated tests and contribute to all aspects of the SDLC process.
• Deliver against requirements and acceptance criteria from a Network Infrastructure team.
• Interface with Network Engineers to understand the requirements for Network devices.
• Collaborate with the development team on a daily basis.
• Work within a Scrum framework using an agile mind-set following SDLC processes.
• Ability to work with a variety of infrastructure technologies and third‑party products.
