Job summary

Amazon Data Services Ireland Limited seeks a Software Developer Engineer to design and develop key components of AWS's next-generation datacenter network. You will own building tools for network visibility and automation for wiring and expansion across global DCs.

You will collaborate with Network Engineering, DC Operations, and provisioning, configuration, deployment, monitoring and scaling teams to deliver high-quality software and fast rollouts.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional software development outside of internships.
• Experience designing or architecting scalable systems and patterns.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language and commitment to code quality.
• Ability to supervise multiple AI agents to produce high-quality code.

Responsibilities

• Develop world-class software systems for automating Amazon's network.
• Provide technical direction to the team and identify areas of focus.
• Create and review software design documentation.
• Collaborate with principal engineers to enable fast roll-out of designs and products.
• Own the operational excellence of production software.
• Improve documentation, processes, and tools to boost team performance.
