QUALCOMM, Inc. in Cork, Ireland seeks a Senior Software Developer to design, implement, and support enterprise-grade Java/J2EE applications, APIs, and GenAI-enabled features. You will work across backend and frontend stacks, collaborate with architects, and mentor teammates to deliver scalable solutions.

You will contribute to code quality, security, performance, and maintainability while operating in a fast-moving enterprise IT environment with strong stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field OR 5+ years without a Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of full-stack application development (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
• 1+ year experience with data structures, algorithms, and data stores.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications and backend services using Java/J2EE and modern frameworks.
• Build and enhance full-stack solutions including backend APIs, integration layers, and UI components.
• Develop and support workflow-driven applications and business process automation solutions.
• Contribute to RESTful services and system integrations across enterprise platforms.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and sprint planning.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.
