MCS Group is partnering with a growing Irish technology company building secure, AI-powered software used by businesses in international markets. They seek a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the engineering team as they scale and modernise their platform.

You’ll work across a modern stack including Java, Spring, TypeScript, React, Angular and AWS in a hybrid Dublin setting. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of commercial experience, strong Java/Spring skills, frontend experience with

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong Java and Spring experience.
• Frontend experience with React or Angular.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
• Cloud experience, ideally AWS.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to learn unfamiliar languages/frameworks and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve applications using Java/Spring, TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Develop and integrate APIs across backend and frontend systems.
• Work with React and Angular applications.
• Build scalable services within AWS.
• Improve existing architecture as the platform evolves.
• Work with relational databases and optimise performance.
• Troubleshoot production and application issues.
• Contribute to architectural and technical decisions.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity.
• Participate in code reviews and support other engineers.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and other teams from idea to production.
