Job summary

Broadridge Financial Solutions in Dublin seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the Securities-Based Lending (SBL) Engineering team. You will help design and deliver scalable full‑stack solutions across UI, REST APIs, backend services and cloud infra, leveraging Python, Java, Angular/React, and AWS.

The role involves collaborating with Product, QA, UX, and Engineering teams, contributing to CI/CD pipelines, and mentoring junior engineers in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years commercial software engineering experience, including strong Python and FastAPI experience.
• Commercial experience developing enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot, with RESTful APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality full-stack applications for Broadridge's SBL platform.
• Build scalable backend services using Python, Java and API-first architectures.
• Design, implement and evolve RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop cloud-native apps on AWS with DevOps and IaC practices.
• Participate in architecture discussions and design reviews.
• Produce clean, well-tested code and perform peer reviews.
