Job summary

Qualifications

• Deep proficiency in Python and/or PHP for backend web development with strong API design skills.
• Relational and non-relational database design with query optimisation; cloud infrastructure experience (AWS).
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical design and mentor other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Guide frontend and backend implementations spanning React, Vue, and server-rendered templates with Python/PHP backends.
• Design scalable APIs and data models; develop MCP-enabled AI tooling integrations.
• Drive features from conception through deployment and operational excellence.
• Apply best practices across frontend architecture, API design, testing, and performance.
• Mentor colleagues across frontend and backend disciplines and contribute to cross-team initiatives.
• Partner with product managers to inform roadmap and technical direction.
• Lead post-incident reviews to improve reliability and operational quality.
