Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Engineer in the Services Technology group in Dublin to architect and build large-scale web applications for Apple TV+ Studio & Production and Music operations.

You will own applications end-to-end, work full stack, and collaborate with Quality Engineering, DevOps, Design, and Product teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Solid proficiency with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Experience designing and developing microservices and APIs (RESTful and/or GraphQL).

As a Software Engineer, you'll architect and develop large-scale web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment. You'll own applications end-to-end, working full stack and contributing to a robust technology ecosystem.

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic and expanding team. In this role, you will be part of a larger engineering team working on highly integrated applications in a fast-paced environment. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Quality Engineering, DevOps, Design, and Product, to design and develop complex, distributed, high-quality solutions with tight deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications

• Solid proficiency experience using SQL or NoSQL Databases.
• Experience in designing and developing microservices and APIs (RESTful and/or GraphQL).
• Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS or Azure or GCP), and Cloud Services (e.g, functions/Lamdas).

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of containerization concepts like Kubernetes, Docker and others.
• Experience with DevOps process automation using Terraform, Pulumi, or alternatives.
• Experience with continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins) and testing frameworks (e.g.JUnit).
• Experience working with distributed, global teams.
• Experience working with observability and monitoring systems such as Dynatrace or DataDog.
• Experience working in highly integrated systems.
• Strong communication, collaboration, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work and solve problems independently.
