Job summary

Apple is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute to web applications with Python, Java, and Rust backends and React/Vue frontends, guiding stack-wide technical direction. You own complex frontend, API, and data challenges including MCP servers powering AI interoperability.

You will work with autonomy, applying best practices to improve reliability, developer experience, and user-facing quality, influencing multiple teams and initiatives within Apple.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python/Java for backend microservices and strong API design.
• Frontend experience with TypeScript and a modern framework (React or Vue); server-rendered templates is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with containerization technologies and Kubernetes (K8s).

Responsibilities

• Guide the technical direction and implementation of complex features spanning microservices and frontend interfaces (Python, Java, Rust; React, Vue).
• Design scalable APIs, data models, and service architectures including MCP servers for AI tooling.
• Drive features through full lifecycle from concept to deployment and operations.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to cross‑organization initiatives.
• Lead post‑incident reviews and improve reliability and observability.
