Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for Grafana Frontend, leading the Frontend Platform and Navigation squads to deliver high-quality, reliable experiences. You will mentor senior engineers, collaborate with Product and Design, and steer AI-enabled improvements across engineering and operations.

You will manage two squads, drive discovery with customers, and set roadmaps while ensuring quality, security, and operability in a globally distributed, 100% remote environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing senior engineers and developing technical leaders.
• Strong foundation in modern web/frontend systems and architectural decisions.
• Proven ability to turn cross-team problems into clear priorities and measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Lead two distributed frontend squads, set expectations, coach and develop team members.
• Own hiring and staffing across squads, align capacity with product priorities.
• Drive discovery with customers and users to shape roadmaps and priorities.
• Set milestones, manage risks, and ensure delivery from discovery to rollout.
• Champion AI/automation adoption to improve delivery speed and quality.
