Job summary

Nicoll Curtin in Dublin is seeking a Senior Engineer to join a mobile-focused team building scalable front-end and hybrid applications used by customers worldwide.

You’ll develop with Angular, HTML, CSS and Ionic/Capacitor, deliver native-like experiences on iOS and Android, and collaborate with UX/UI, architecture and engineering colleagues to ship reliable software with strong testing and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Angular, HTML and CSS.
• Experience building responsive web and mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience with Ionic, Capacitor or similar hybrid mobile technologies.
• Good understanding of iOS and Android platforms and native mobile concepts.
• Strong experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of secure application design, authentication and data protection.
• Experience with CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
• Exposure to tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar and Playwright would be beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within collaborative, distributed engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Building scalable, maintainable front-end and mobile applications using Angular, HTML and CSS
• Developing hybrid mobile solutions across iOS and Android
• Working with Ionic, Capacitor or similar mobile frameworks
• Using modern Angular capabilities including ngRx and signal-based state management
• Integrating RESTful APIs, backend services, SDKs and native mobile functionality
• Collaborating closely with UX/UI, architecture and engineering teams to deliver high-quality customer experiences
• Contributing to automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD and overall engineering best practices
• Supporting application performance, troubleshooting, observability and release readiness
