Job summary

Cpl Group in Dublin is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join a global software team on a day-rate contract with strong likelihood of permanent conversion. You will work on React components for the design system, delivering accessible and performant UI.

Collaborate with UX Designers to ensure pixel-perfect parity with designs, and partner with Accessibility Specialists to bake WCAG 2.2 compliant features into all components.

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining React-based design systems.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.2 and accessible front-end solutions.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern front-end practices.
• Experience in designing and building enterprise software or large-scale systems.
• Familiar with Git and modern development workflows.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

This is a day rate contract role whoever strong possibility of converting to a permanent position or rolling long term.

Your day-to-day

• Develop and maintain React components for the design system, ensuring quality, performance, and accessibility.


• Collaborate with UX Designers to achieve 1-to-1 parity between coded components and design specifications.


• Partner with Accessibility Specialists to bake accessible functionality into allcomponents.


• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirementsand manage scope in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


• Optimize and document reusable code to streamline product team adoption ofthe design system.

What you bring to the team

• Professional experience building and maintaining


• React-based design systems.


• Strong knowledge of web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.2) and experience implementing accessible solutions.


• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end development practices.


• Experience in designing and building enterprise software or large-scale systems.


• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and development workflows.
