Ryanair Labs is hiring a Frontend Developer to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group. You’ll work on delivering high quality interfaces across Ryanair platforms, using Angular, HTML5 and TypeScript within a cloud-native, AWS environment.

Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders in an agile setup to shape and plan new features. Expect discussions on performance, cross-browser compatibility, and scalable frontend architectures, with a focus on user experience and rapid delivery through CI/CD

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a FrontEnd Developer
• Proficient with Angular/HTML5/TypeScript in modern frontend stack
• Comfortable coding custom JavaScript solutions and using existing frameworks
• Expert in building high performing, available websites with security and performance focus
• Exposure to agile development practices
• Passionate about user experience and CI/CD environments

Ryanair Labs are currently recruiting for Frontend Developer to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group!

This is a very exciting time to join Ryanair as we look to expand our operation to 800 aircraft and 300 million guests within the next 8 years.

Ryanair Labs is the technology brand of Ryanair. Labs is a state of-the-art digital & IT innovation hub creating Europe’s Leading Travel Experience for our customers.

Our Tech Stack is based on the latest frontend technologies and frameworks. We are using the latest version of Angular and a microsites architecture.

All of our projects are hosted in the cloud (AWS) using a serverless infrastructure delivered with cloud native pipelines. We are using feature flags to rapidly deliver new functionalities to our users safely.

Your mission with us

• Assisting analysts and business stakeholders in shaping, estimating and planning new requirements
• Participating in regular showcases of new work to the product owners and business stakeholders

• 8+ years of experience working as a FrontEnd Developer
• IT Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
• Proficient on modern frontend technology stack such as Angular, HTML5, Typescript.
• Comfortable coding custom JavaScript solutions as well as utilising existing frameworks
• Expert knowledge of building high performing and available websites and how to apply page performance optimisation techniques
• Adept at building and maintaining cross browser/device compatible sites
• Exposure or appreciation of agile development practices
• Passionate about user experience
• Confortable working and maintaining a CI/CD environemnt
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent understanding of the coding standards required for high volume websites from a security and performance perspective
• Experience working on large e-commerce websites and their underlying databases
• Bonus points AWS knowledge and proficiency
