Jobgether collaborates with an enterprise partner in Ireland to recruit a Senior Front-End UI/UX Engineer. You will shape intuitive, accessible interfaces for complex enterprise applications while working with designers, QA, and technology teams.

The role centers on ASP.NET MVC 5, WCAG/Section 508 accessibility, and RESTful API integration in a hands-on engineering environment to deliver production-ready interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5-8+ years of professional software development experience, with significant hands-on front-end and UI development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery with semantic markup.
• Ability to apply UI/UX principles including information architecture, interaction design, visual hierarchy, usability, and user-centered design.
• Experience implementing and testing accessible web experiences against WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and Section 508.
• Knowledge of ARIA, semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, focus management, and accessibility testing with assistive technologies.
• Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET MVC 5, with experience developing full-stack .NET applications.
• Solid SQL Server experience including data modeling, T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with systems.
• Experience with unit testing, QA collaboration, usability testing, release processes, and SDLC.
• Ability to analyze complex requirements, troubleshoot cross-browser issues, and deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to advocate for users and accessibility.
• Experience with DevExpress UI components and reporting tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with UX certifications (IAAP CPACC/WAS) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma/Adobe XD is beneficial.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and legacy .NET modernization is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain accessible front-end interfaces for enterprise applications built on ASP.NET MVC 5.
• Translate business requirements and design concepts into clean, intuitive interfaces.
• Apply UI/UX and accessibility principles to real-world applications.
• Ensure accessibility in accordance with WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and Section 508.
• Develop and support full-stack .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC 5, SQL Server.
• Build and integrate front-end experiences with RESTful APIs and internal/external systems.
• Prepare technical design specifications and clear documentation.
• Write and maintain unit tests and support QA, usability testing, and release activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, designers, QA, and technology teams to validate solutions.
