Job summary

CREGG in Co. Galway, Ireland is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing tech team. You will leverage Next.js, Node.js, .NET/C#, and TypeScript to build secure, scalable web applications for real-world use.

You will collaborate with product and design teams, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments on Azure, and help shape architecture and best practices while mentoring junior developers. Our environment values problem-solving and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full-stack experience.
• Strong experience with Next.js, React.js, and Node.js.
• Backend development with .NET/C#.
• Experience with Azure Functions, Service Bus, Cosmos DB.
• Familiarity with SQL (MSSQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack apps with Next.js, Node.js, .NET/C#, and TypeScript.
• Build responsive interfaces for customer-facing ecommerce platforms.
• Implement backend services and APIs using REST and GraphQL.
• Write testable code with Jest, xUnit, or NUnit.
• Optimize apps for speed, scalability, and reliability.
• Integrate with third-party platforms and Azure services.
• Participate in CI/CD workflows and automated testing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
