Job summary

CREGG is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join its growing operations in County Carlow. This is a senior, hands-on finance role with significant responsibility and direct interaction with management.

The successful candidate will own cash-flow forecasting, monthly management accounts, P&L and margin analysis, statutory financial statements, year-end audit, budgeting and forecasting, job costing and project profitability, financial controls and finance systems reporting, and

Qualifications

• Senior, hands-on finance position with significant responsibility
• Experience in a growing SME, construction, engineering, renewables or project-driven environment preferred
• Ability to interact directly with management and provide strategic input

Responsibilities

• Cash-flow forecasting and working capital management
• Monthly management accounts preparation and analysis
• P&L and margin analysis for pricing and cost control
• Statutory financial statements preparation and compliance
• Year-end audit coordination and liaison with auditors
• Budgeting and forecasting processes across the business
• Job costing and project profitability analysis
• Maintain strong financial controls and processes
• Finance systems and reporting improvements
• Commercial financial analysis to support decision-making
