Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Cork team. This role focuses on statutory reporting, technical accounting, financial compliance and external audits across multiple entities.

The ideal candidate is a fully qualified accountant with IFRS proficiency, strong technical and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a multinational finance environment.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent).
• Experience in financial reporting, statutory accounting and external audit.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and related frameworks.
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong Excel and financial systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end statutory journals and supporting documentation.
• Prepare interim and annual statutory financial statements across multiple entities.
• Coordinate statutory filings and ensure regulatory deadlines are met.
• Support external audits, liaising with auditors and providing required documentation.
• Analyse complex transactions and provide technical accounting guidance.
• Work with finance teams and stakeholders across multiple regions.
• Support process improvements across reporting, controls and compliance.

We are recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the finance team of a leading global organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to gain international exposure across statutory reporting, technical accounting, financial compliance and external audit.

Role

• Prepare month-end statutory journals and supporting documentation.
• Prepare interim and annual statutory financial statements across multiple entities.
• Coordinate statutory filings and ensure regulatory deadlines are met.
• Support external audits, liaising with auditors and providing required documentation.

Ideal Candidate

• Fully qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.

• Big Four and/or multinational experience highly desirable.
• Strong technical, analytical and communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Strong Excel and financial systems experience.
