Job summary

Darwin Hawkins in Dublin South is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join a large multinational finance team. The role offers flexible working with one day in the office weekly, and exposure to senior management, financial reporting, budgeting and strategic planning.

Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee monthly/quarterly reporting, forecasting, commercial analysis and stakeholder engagement; you will also lead process improvements and enhance BI and consolidation tools.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with minimum of 8 years PQE.
• Strong experience across financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience analysing financial and performance data and communicating key trends and insights.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Commercially minded with the ability to understand key business performance drivers.
• Experience with reporting, consolidation and data visualisation tools would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Support the monthly and quarterly reporting requirements.
• Budgeting & Planning: Contribute to annual budgets and strategic plans.
• Performance Analysis: Review performance and provide analysis on forecasts, costs and cash.

Our client is a large and well-regarded multinational with significant international operations. They are now looking to add a Senior Finance Manager to their finance team in South Dublin.

Role and Reporting Lines

Reporting to the CFO, you will be part of a wider finance team supporting senior management across the organisation. Responsibilities will include:

• Financial Reporting - Support the preparation, review and delivery of monthly and quarterly financial reporting requirements.
• Budgeting & Planning - Play a key role in annual budgets, strategic plans and related reporting deliverables.
• Performance Analysis - Review financial performance and provide clear analysis on key business issues, forecasts, costs and operating cash performance.
• Senior Stakeholder Engagement - Work with senior stakeholders across the organisation, providing financial information, analysis and insights to support decision-making.
• Reporting Team Coordination - Coordinate key elements of the monthly reporting process, including deliverables and follow-up queries.
• Business Intelligence - Utilise business intelligence and data visualisation tools to provide meaningful analysis and insights.
• Systems & Technology - Support the continued development of consolidation and reporting tools as part of the wider finance technology roadmap.
• Process Improvement - Support senior and executive management with ad hoc analysis while contributing to finance process improvement initiatives.
