Job summary

Cadence Design Systems in Dublin invites a Senior Reporting and Project Analyst to join our Credit & Collections team. You will lead reporting, analytics, and automation projects to drive better cash forecasting and KPI visibility.

You will build dashboards, perform AR analysis, and partner with finance and IT to optimize processes and data quality across SAP Hana, HighRadius, and related ERP systems in a global, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, analytics, or a related field.
Multiple years of experience in reporting, business analysis, finance, or process improvement.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Experience supporting Finance, Credit & Collections, Treasury or AR.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Highly organized with project ownership and continuous improvement mindset.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
Advanced Excel skills and dashboard development.
ERP/BI familiarity with SAP, Oracle, HighRadius, Salesforce, or similar.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and automate reports.
Improve reporting infrastructure and automate through AI where applicable.
Analyze AR trends, aging, collections performance, DSO, and cash forecast metrics.
Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI reporting.
Identify business trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis.
Build dashboards and reporting solutions (AI where applicable).
Analyze collection effectiveness, automation, and productivity metrics.
Perform root-cause analysis on AR issues, disputes, and customer payment behaviour.
Support business decisions through data-driven recommendations.
Measure process performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Lead reporting and automation projects from requirements gathering through implementation.
Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
Prepare executive summaries, project updates, and business cases.
Support M&A activities, system implementations, process redesign, and integration initiatives.
Identify and automate manual, repetitive processes.
Support reporting automation initiatives and workflow enhancements.
Define reporting standards, controls, and governance.
Work with business and technical teams to improve data quality and system utilization (High-Radius and SAP Hana).
Document business processes and reporting requirements.
