Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years' experience in a technical service, operations or engineering environment.
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams in a customer-facing environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience balancing customer, operational and business priorities.
  • Experience managing budgets, operational metrics and performance objectives.
  • Ability to navigate a complex matrix organisation and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Semiconductor industry experience, or experience in a comparable high-technology environment, is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
Safety & Quality
  • Champion a strong safety-first culture and drive an incident-free working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with Applied Materials and customer safety standards.
  • Drive operational excellence through quality management, continuous improvement and performance accountability.

Financial & Commercial Performance
  • Manage installation, warranty and service operations within assigned areas.
  • Drive performance against revenue, margin, utilisation and cost objectives.
  • Partner with Finance on forecasting, budgeting and resource planning activities.
  • Support the growth of Commercial Service Agreements and broader business opportunities with key customers.
  • Apply sound commercial judgement to operational decision-making and business priorities.
People Leadership

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
