Job summary

Dexcom Inc. in Athenry, Ireland, is seeking a Senior Facilities Technician for Front End Days to support the start-up of our first European manufacturing site.

You will work on a 12-hour day shift pattern and ensure regulated facilities maintenance, data reporting and documentation are handled to GMP standards. You will leverage Maximo CMMS and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to drive continuous improvement and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 4–6 years of related experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with GMP-compliant facilities preferred.
• Proven ability to interpret drawings, data and process information.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, compile, and analyze technical data from internal systems.
• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support Engineering, Quality and Operations.
• Interpret drawings, schematics and process data to support investigations.
• Assist with trend analysis and data evaluation for improvements.
• Support Non-Conformance management and closure with proper documentation.
• Prepare and review controlled documentation (SOPs, work instructions, reports).
• Liaise with Engineering, Production and Quality to gather information for investigations.
• Provide technical input on quality issues based on hands-on experience.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and operations excellence initiatives.
• Ensure maintenance activities are well documented and audit-ready.
• Utilize Maximo CMMS to track maintenance and compliance with GMP.
• Assist audits, risk assessments, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate and oversee external contractor work.
