Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Estimator to join its global project and cost management consultancy. You will lead the development of the total project estimate and coordinate with the project team to build an accurate Basis of Estimate.

You will maintain local rate libraries, analyze risks, and propose cost contingencies. The role requires a decade of estimating experience in construction and proficiency with leading estimating tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years estimating experience in a construction environment.
• Demonstrated experience using estimating software (Sage Timberline, InEight or CostX).
• Degree or comparable experience in construction related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team.
• Lead the development of the total project estimate.
• Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis with cost contingency recommendations.
• Analyze and recommend solutions for problems with varying complexity.
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates.
