YO AI Labs seeks an Equity Research Expert to contribute to a remote contractor project focused on advanced financial analysis, modeling, earnings analysis, and sector insights. You will review datasets, analyze earnings revisions, and benchmark peers to support robust investment theses.

Applicants should bring extensive sell-side experience across multiple earnings cycles, strong sector expertise, and proven ability to defend research views.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Sell-Side Research Associate, Research Analyst, VP, or Director with ownership of company models and research.
• Experience covering multiple companies across several earnings cycles.
• Strong understanding of business drivers, financial performance, and valuation.
• Deep expertise in at least one sector, such as banking, insurance, biotech, technology, or other industries.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in earnings analysis, peer benchmarking, valuation, and event-driven research.
• Experience developing and defending investment theses and research views.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate equity research datasets for accuracy and relevance.
• Analyze earnings reports, estimate revisions, and peer benchmarking.
• Evaluate company financial models, including revenue, margins, cash flow, and valuation drivers.
• Prepare concise research summaries and event-driven updates.
• Develop and articulate investment theses using quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Identify industry trends, sector-specific metrics, and company catalysts.
• Provide feedback to improve the quality and accuracy of research-related content.
