Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking Investment Banking Experts for a remote contractor role focused on financial modeling, valuation, transaction analysis, and industry research to train AI systems. No prior AI experience is required, but senior banking expertise is essential to ensure high-quality outputs.

You will conduct research, build and review valuation models, and prepare pitchbooks while explaining complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders involved in AI training projects.

Qualifications

• Senior Associate or Vice President level experience in M&A or investment banking.
• Hands-on experience with live acquisition or sale processes.
• Strong Excel financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis.
• Experience with company research, target screening, comparable company analysis, and pitchbook preparation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct company and industry research to support financial analysis and AI training.
• Perform target screening, comparables analysis, and transaction analysis.
• Build, review, and troubleshoot Excel-based financial and valuation models.
• Prepare and review pitchbooks and client presentation materials.
• Analyze financial materials for numerical errors, valuation issues, and logical inconsistencies.
• Explain accounting treatments, valuation adjustments, assumptions, and transaction sensitivities.
• Provide clear written and verbal explanations of complex financial concepts.
