Job summary

Brightpath Recruitment is seeking a Senior Sustainability & Environmental Advisor to support environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives across construction and civil engineering projects in Ireland. You will help drive ISO 14001 compliance, decarbonisation, circular economy, biodiversity and climate adaptation efforts.

The role involves preparing environmental reports and KPIs, developing risk assessments and management plans, and providing input to tenders and PQQs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years' environmental or sustainability experience within construction or civil engineering.
• Working towards or holding relevant professional membership.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, ISO 14001, carbon reduction, and circular economy principles.
• Experience with sustainability reporting and carbon calculations.
• Experience preparing management plans, risk assessments, and environmental documentation.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities
