Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment seeks a Senior Environmental Engineer to join one of Ireland’s leading indigenous consultancies, focusing on sustainable infrastructure, circular economy, environment, energy, and renewables.

You will join the Circular Economy and Environment team, delivering civil and environmental projects across public and private sectors, collaborating with engineers, technicians, clients, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years’ post-graduate professional experience.
• Proven project management experience.
• Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills.
• Experience liaising with clients and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Desirable: experience in anaerobic digestion or waste facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and management of design work and CAD documentation.
• Collaborate with Project Engineers and Technicians to meet project requirements.
• Coordinate activities, deliverables and technical information across teams.
• Attend site meetings with clients, contractors and project professionals.
• Liaise with stakeholders, clients and sub-contractors throughout delivery.
• Support project management to ensure efficient delivery.
• Ensure QA, health, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to waste, environmental and circular economy projects.
