Job summary

Fehily Timoney and Company (FT) is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer – Civil and Environmental Engineering to join our Circular Economy and Environment team, based in our Cork, Dublin, or Carlow offices. The role involves overseeing design work, CAD documentation, and coordinating with project teams to deliver high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of post-graduate professional experience.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Energetic and self-motivated professional.
• Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated experience liaising with external stakeholders, clients and sub-contractors.
• Flexible, collaborative, and an effective team player.
• Possesses a full, clean valid driving licence.
• Experience in the design for anaerobic digestion facilities, solid waste management facilities or public realm is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the planning and management of design work and CAD documentation, in close collaboration with Project Engineers and Engineering Technicians.
• Participating in on-site meetings with clients and other professionals.
• Ensuring adherence to the company’s Quality Assurance and Management Systems.
• Complying with all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Coordinating activities and deliverables with other members of the project team.
