Job summary

GPC - Global Professional Consultants in Ireland seeks a Senior Environmental Consultant to join its expanding Environmental team. You will work across major infrastructure, transport, energy, industrial and urban development projects, delivering strategic environmental advice and leading complex assessments from planning to delivery.

You will lead environmental input, coordinate multidisciplinary studies, and manage client relationships while supporting business development and chartership

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Planning or related discipline.
• 8+ years' experience in environmental consultancy or planning.
• Strong experience in EIA, SEA or major environmental assessments.
• Knowledge of Irish environmental legislation and guidance.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary environmental commissions.
• Chartered status with IEMA, CIEEM, CIWEM, IPI, RTPI or similar is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental input across major infrastructure and development projects
• Provide advice on environmental legislation, planning policy and impact assessment requirements
• Project manage multidisciplinary environmental studies and technical specialists
• Coordinate inputs across ecology, heritage, noise, air quality, water and related disciplines
• Manage client relationships and act as a key environmental point of contact
• Support wider environmental strategy, business development and team growth
