Environmental Consultant (Senior) – 8+ years’ experience

Location: Tralee/Limerick/Cork

My client is an established multi‑disciplinary engineering and environmental consultancy based in Munster, with offices in Tralee and Limerick. They are currently seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to join their growing team and contribute to a range of exciting and diverse projects.

This position is ideal for Senior Environmental Consultants with over 8 years of experience who are looking for an opportunity to work on challenging projects within a supportive, team‑oriented environment. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the environmental components of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Provide expert guidance on environmental planning and regulatory matters.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including engineers, planners, and architects, to integrate environmental considerations into project designs.
• Prepare and review environmental documentation such as EIARs, EIA Screening Reports, Construction Environmental Management Plans, and Resource and Waste Management Plans.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and authorities as needed to support project development.
• Represent the company at client meetings, public consultations, and regulatory hearings.
• Mentor and support junior team members, helping to develop their understanding of environmental regulations and best practices.
