Job summary

CG Controls Ltd. in South Dublin is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day engineering operations, resource planning and continuous improvement, reporting to the Managing Director.

You will coordinate project delivery across sites, manage workloads, budgets and safety, and build strong relationships with customers and suppliers while developing effective systems and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical qualification and leadership experience.
• Proven ability to manage engineering teams, projects or technical operations.
• Strong planning, budgeting and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of engineering and project delivery teams.
• Plan and coordinate engineering resources across multiple projects and sites.
• Maintain visibility of workload, capacity and resource needs.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Monitor progress, hours, costs and milestones.
• Identify risks and resolve issues before impact.
• Coordinate customer site activities, commissioning and support.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards and documentation.
• Support handover from sales to delivery.
• Coordinate procurement with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and development.
• Conduct regular operational and project review meetings.
• Develop KPIs for utilisation, project performance, quality and service.
• Identify process improvements for productivity and efficiency.
• Support development of company systems and procedures.
• Ensure health & safety requirements and site procedures.
• Build strong customer relationships and provide regular reporting.
