Job summary

Morgan McKinley is representing a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation seeking an Engineering & EHS Director to provide strategic leadership across engineering, maintenance, facilities and site safety. The role directs engineering infrastructure, reliability, compliance and investment strategy within a highly regulated environment.

You will lead engineering, maintenance, facilities and EHS with accountability for capital programmes, asset strategies and site resilience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Significant experience leading engineering and maintenance functions in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of reliability, asset management, facilities and operations.
• Proven track record delivering complex capital projects and investment programmes.
• Experience managing sizeable multidisciplinary teams and engineering talent.
• Strong understanding of EHS requirements within a regulated setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities and EHS.
• Develop and implement asset strategies to improve reliability and performance.
• Lead capital investment and site development programmes from concept to delivery.
• Oversee utilities, infrastructure and maintenance systems in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Drive continuous improvement and a culture of accountability.
• Mentor multidisciplinary technical teams and future leaders.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Align technical priorities with business objectives across functions.
