Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the Life Science Team in Kildare. You will oversee the engineering function, set strategy, and coordinate with the line manager and supply chain, ensuring QA compliance and proper document control.

You will also manage Temporary Works, lifting operations, and the Non-Conformance process, while maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders and ensuring safety and quality across the works.

Qualifications

• B.Eng in Civil Engineering and professional accreditation.
• Temporary Works Coordinator training.
• Lifting Operations basic awareness course.
• A61 CPCS Lifting.
• Operations Appointed Persons course.
• Scaffold awareness/inspection.
• Planning & programming software.

Responsibilities

• Manage the engineering function as the senior representative on the project.
• Coordinate with the line manager and provide Engineering Leadership for their project(s).
• Set the strategy for Engineering, onsite control, with Engineer/Assistant Engineer and subordinates/supply chain.
• Be the primary reference for QA, record keeping and production, ensuring quality procedures are followed.
• Take responsibility for Temporary Works Control/Co-ordination and lifting operations where required.
• Oversee NCRs and non-conformances and drive timely closure.
