Job summary

Sisk Group is seeking a Project Manager to join its Life Science team in Kildare. You will lead delivery of construction projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring safety, budget and quality targets are met while directing cross-functional teams across engineering, design and construction.

Key responsibilities include planning, monitoring progress, managing risks, and reporting on performance.

Qualifications

• Essential: Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related discipline.
• Essential: Demonstrated experience in project management within a Tier 1 construction or engineering environment.
• Essential: Relevant health and safety certification (e.g. Safe Pass, CSCS, SMSTS or equivalent).
• Desirable: Membership of CIOB, Engineers Ireland, RICS, ICE or similar.
• Desirable: Postgraduate qualification in project management or business management.
• Desirable: Training in lean construction, digital project delivery or sustainability practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and deliver projects in line with agreed programme, budget and specifications.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, commercial, design and construction function.
• Monitor progress, manage risks and implement corrective actions where required.
• Ensure resources are effectively allocated and project milestones are achieved.
• Maintain accurate reporting on progress, costs, quality and performance indicators.
• Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental performance.
• Ensure procurement processes are followed and subcontractor performance is managed effectively.
• Support tendering and bid processes where required.
• Lead project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability and professional development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
