Job summary

Global Professional Consultants seeks a Senior Engineer with strong leadership to join one of Ireland's leading Civil Engineering Contractors. You will work across large-scale residential projects in South Dublin and create work schedules that meet deadlines.

The role involves coordinating parts of projects, setting out sites, reviewing technical designs, and supervising contracted staff while ensuring specifications, budgets and timescales are met. Health and safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or similar.
• Full driver's license.
• 5+ years experience.
• Sound knowledge of engineering, construction, and design.
• Company vehicle.
• Laptop/phone.

Responsibilities

• Managing parts of projects.
• Setting out sites.
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure they are followed correctly.
• Supervising contracted staff.
• Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales.
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager.
• Providing technical advice and solving problems on site.
• Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork.
• Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and the pricing of materials.
• Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.

You should be able to work alongside various professionals and create work schedules that meet deadlines. The successful Engineer will be working across large scale residential projects in South Dublin.

Role:
