Job summary

Byrne Wallace Shields is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join its leading Employment team in Ireland. The role covers advisory, litigation and transactions, with strong collaboration across the firm and with international colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience in employment law, including contentious and non-contentious matters, and a proven ability to manage complex matters and build client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience in employment law (contentious and non-contentious).
• Experience in advisory, litigation, and employment law transaction advice.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to develop client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied employment law caseload covering contentious and non-contentious matters.
• Representing clients before the Workplace Relations Commission, Labour Court, and courts.
• Providing practical and commercially focused advice on a wide range of employment law issues.
• Maintaining and developing public and private sector client relationships.
• Advising on dispute resolution strategies and participating in mediations/arbitrations where appropriate.
• Training clients across areas of employment law.
