Job summary

ZeroOne is seeking a senior electrical engineer to lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for data centre projects in Dublin. You will own LV/MV power distribution, UPS, standby generation, and switchgear, and work closely with the Electrical Director to shape project direction and technical standards.

The role combines hands-on design leadership with mentoring of junior engineers, contributing to live retrofits and new build schemes across Europe, while operating in a hybrid Dublin

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering and Chartered status or working towards it.
• 8+ years in electrical building services, data centres preferred.
• Proven ability to lead multi-million-euro packages from concept to delivery.
• Strong knowledge of electrical standards (IEC, CIBSE, BS, IS, EN).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of LV/MV power distribution, UPS, standby generation, and switchgear for data centre projects.
• Prepare and review technical specs, calculations, diagrams, and tender docs; perform power system studies.
• Act as key reviewer of junior engineer outputs and ensure technical excellence.
• Manage project scope, budget, programme, and client-facing meetings; mentor engineers.
