ZeroOne is a Dublin-based MEP design consultancy focused on the European data centre sector. We are seeking electrical design engineers to join our Dublin team, tackling power distribution, electrical infrastructure and mission-critical systems.
Join a growing team to work with experienced engineers on the full design process, gain exposure across Europe, and benefit from mentoring, flexible working and international project travel opportunities.
ZeroOne is a rapidly growing Dublin-based MEP consultancy specialising in the design of mission-critical data centre infrastructure across Europe.
We are looking for Electrical Design Engineers to join our Dublin team. This is an opportunity to develop your career working on some of the most technically challenging electrical engineering problems in the industry, particularly in the areas of power distribution, electrical infrastructure, and mission-critical systems.
As chip power densities continue to increase and electrical systems become more sophisticated, the demand for engineers who can develop robust, efficient and resilient electrical designs is growing rapidly. At ZeroOne, you’ll apply your engineering fundamentals to the design of electrical systems for hyperscale, colocation and next-generation AI data centres.
You’ll work alongside experienced electrical engineers and founding directors, gaining practical experience across the full design process while developing the technical skills needed to build a successful career in specialist electrical engineering.
We’re particularly interested in candidates who are curious, technically driven and excited by the opportunity to solve complex engineering problems.
- Currently completing, or recently completed, a bachelor’s degree or master's in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Strong academic grounding in electrical engineering principles and power systems.
- A genuine interest in electrical systems, power distribution, and engineering design.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Permanent legal right to live and work in Ireland.
- Experience or familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Amtech or other engineering software.
- Base knowledge of LV/MV distribution systems, transformers, generators, UPS systems or data centre electrical infrastructure.
- Relevant project, placement, research or university design experience.
- An interest in data centres, high-tech facilities or other mission-critical environments.
You do not need to have previous data centre experience. We are primarily looking for strong engineering fundamentals, intellectual curiosity and the motivation to develop into an excellent engineer.
ZeroOne is a specialist MEP design consultancy focused exclusively on the European data centre sector. Founded in 2025, we have already grown to a team of more than 20 mechanical and electrical engineers, with significant further growth planned. Our Dublin-based team works on projects for some of the world's leading technology companies, hyperscalers, colocation providers and neocloud operators, including Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and CoreWeave.
Our projects span the EMEA region, with engineers regularly involved in work across continental Europe. Recent project locations have included Copenhagen, Berlin, Amsterdam and the Azores.
We combine the technical expertise of an experienced core team with an agile, collaborative approach to project delivery. As a growing consultancy, we offer engineers the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility early, work closely with experienced engineers and see how their designs contribute to real-world infrastructure.
