Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd in Cork is seeking an Electrical Lead to oversee the life sciences and technology projects, reporting to the Project Director and coordinating with MEP leads to deliver safe, compliant electrical systems.

You will provide technical and managerial leadership across LV/MV distribution, lighting, fire systems and life safety, ensuring design, installation, testing and commissioning meet safety, quality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience leading electrical delivery on large construction projects.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g. Safe Pass, CSCS).
• Experience with LV/MV distribution and life-safety systems.
• Desirable familiarity with GMP/regulatory environments in life sciences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical team and oversee delivery of LV/MV distribution, UPS, generators, lighting, fire alarms and life safety systems.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers, supervisors and subcontractors to ensure effective delivery.
• Develop and implement strategies for electrical execution, resource allocation and planning.
• Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, process, instrumentation and BMS teams; lead coordination meetings.
