Job summary

Ethos Engineering in Ireland is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead Data Centre projects across EMEA, managing a team of support engineers and BIM technicians from concept to client handover. The role requires strong communication, initiative, and a broad understanding of Electrical, BMS/EPMS, Security and CSA disciplines.

You will liaise with clients, architects and project managers, drive adoption of emerging technologies, and ensure compliance with CIBSE, BS, IS and EN standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data centre electrical design teams.
• Ability to coordinate with clients, architects and project managers.
• Strong knowledge of CIBSE, BS, IS and EN standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and BIM staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical Services design on projects from concept to completion.
• Prepare detailed tender packages, reports, and analyses.
• Develop project scope with design team and client.
• Uphold electrical design standards within the organisation.
• Mentor engineering staff to support professional development.
• Ensure quality checks align with QA processes before issues.
