Job summary

Leap29 seeks a Lead HV Electrical Engineer to design and manage electrical systems for cutting-edge MCF and data centre projects. You will oversee 5V DC to 150kV substations, power distribution, and critical infrastructure in live data centres worldwide.

Role emphasizes 3D/BIM modelling, security installations, and factory acceptance tests, with coordination across contractors and regulatory bodies. 12-month renewable contract, global project exposure.

Qualifications

Experience designing power supply systems for data centres.
Knowledge of fire protection and intrusion protection and access control installations.
Experience working in live data centres with testing and commissioning procedures.

Responsibilities

Manage electrical work packages across multiple projects.
Define project scope, design, and objectives, while coordinating with contractors, vendors and regulators.
Prepare technical specifications and reports.
Assist in project cost management, risk assessments and vendor evaluations.
Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to support project delivery.
Review contractor pre-qualifications and contribute to tender evaluations.
Represent in factory acceptance tests, site testing and commissioning activities.
Communicate the status of projects to internal teams and external stakeholders.
